Hi!  
I'm Sarah Smith. 
I help the women of the Triangle and online world build strength, rehab their pelvic floors and heal their guts with movement! 


I use strength training and mindset support strategies to help busy women and overwhelmed mommas to feel capable, confident and content in their bodies and their lives! 
Aside from my three awesome kiddos, my husband and our dog, Bella, my three favorite things in the world are:

  • Watching people move and helping them to move better
  • Training with kettlebells
  • Coaching women to strength train and walk more
  • Advocating and educating folks about pelvic floor and gut health

I work in-person in Raleigh, North Carolina AND online with women all over the world to help them achieve their goals for healthy, fit, functioning bodies and better quality lifestyles.

 

More about me....

I'm a certified personal trainer, a Level 2 Russian Kettlebell Certified Instructor (RKC2), Postnatal Fitness Specialist (with a concentration on the pelvic floor and pelvic organ prolapse) and functionally trained gut health expert with an MS in Soil Science (because food, dirt, and farm animals!).

I am also the Triangle's only female only trainer and strength coach that coaches her clients with respect to their pelvic floor health and gut functionality.

I work in person at my garage gym in Raleigh, North Carolina to help my clients achieve their fitness, physique and body-confidence goals.

Before becoming a strength coach, I spent 15 years conducting and publishing research on soil science, cancer, environmental microbiology, and urban agriculture for diverse populations, at the National Institutes of Health, University of Arizona and North Carolina State University. 

I make it a point to provide my clients with evidence-based strategies for problem solving, which is why my blog posts are filled with citations to peer-reviewed literature and the latest research!

I'm also a wife to a buggeek, a kettlebell junkie, and lover of coffee, bulldogs, sweatpants, fires, and my Creator.
